Tell Your Story at the County Library Hearings

Libraries For All Hearing in Jackson CountyJanuary 22 & Feb 12 at 9:30 AM

Courthouse Auditorium – 10 South Oakdale, Medford Oregon

Now’s your chance to be heard and tell the County Commissioners how important the libraries are to you. On January 22 and February 12 at 9:30am in the Courthouse Auditorium, the County Commissioners will be holding public hearings about the formation of a Jackson County library district.

Please come to one or both hearings and share your positive stories about the benefits of our libraries and why keeping them open through a library district is best for Jackson County. Remember, a library district gives our libraries stable funding while transferring control away from the County to a publicly-elected board of  people whose mission it is to support the well-being of our libraries.  This leap forward for Jackson County residents will end the “roller-coaster” of library funding and allow us to know that our libraries will remain open.
